Filming for “Star Wars: Episode VII” is over, Entertainment Weekly reports. The upcoming film will have the subtitle, “The Force Awakens.”
The new installment, which picks up three decades after the events of “Return of the Jedi” (1983) stars the crew of the original trilogy: Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), and Anthony Daniels (as C-3PO).
Among the new faces are Oscar-winner, Lupita Nyong’o, from “12 Years a Slave” (2013).
To know what or who will embody the new force, if it is, at all, a new force, we’ll have to hold our breaths until the winter of 2015.
